Sports Medicine
The sports medicine program at Humber River Health treats a wide variety of sports related conditions.
Surgical treatment involves the use of modern surgical techniques including arthroscopy and open surgery as well as the latest technology in orthopaedic implants. Most surgeries are done as outpatients.
In addition to surgery, the program offers non-operative treatment for sports related injuries and conditions.
Surgical procedures performed include both open and arthroscopic surgery of the knee, shoulder, elbow, wrist and ankle.
