What’s New
We want to help keep newborns safe from a virus called Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV). Beginning November 1, 2024 all babies born before or during the RSV season (late fall to early spring) can be immunized to protect them from RSV.
When you come to the hospital to have your baby, you can choose to give your baby this immunization. During your hospital stay, your healthcare team will talk to you about the RSV immunization and offer it for your baby.
If your baby was born in 2024, and you want to book an appointment in the RSV clinic to immunize your baby, please call 416-242-1000 ext. 21400.
For more information, speak with your Doctor and review the RSV Fact Sheet beneath our resources tab.
