During Your Stay
Supporting patient transfers across regions within Ontario
Our highest priority is the safety and well-being of patients and front-line health care teams. As the rate of positivity for COVID-19 remains high across the province, hospitals are facing significant pressures.
Currently, we are working as a system with our hospital partners to transfer patients to surrounding hospitals that are able to accommodate a similar level of care in a timely manner. Every effort is being made to keep patients as close to home as possible.
By treating hospital capacity as a single system we can collectively ensure equal access for patients and support the stabilization of hospitals in Ontario.
If you have any questions during your stay, ask a member of your care team. If they don’t know the answer, they will connect you with someone who can help.
Below you will find the answers to some other frequently asked questions.

Please bring any personal toiletries you might need. But there is a Rexall pharmacy on Level 1 if you forgot something!
