Dr. Sebastian Rodriguez-Elizalde

Dr. Sebastian Rodriguez-Elizalde is a certified orthopaedic surgeon with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC). He began his education at Queen’s University where he completed his Honours Bachelor degree (BScH) in Life Sciences. He then completed his Medical Degree (MD) at the University of Western Ontario.
Dr. Rodriguez-Elizalde subsequently attended The University of Ottawa for his Orthopaedic Surgery residency, graduated and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC).
Following his residency, Dr. Rodriguez-Elizalde did a sub-specialty fellowship in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. After returning to Canada, he completed another sub-specialty fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma at Sunnybrook Hospital at the University of Toronto. Dr. Rodriguez-Elizalde then stayed on staff to work as a Clinical Associate at Sunnybrook Health Sciences.
While transitioning his practice to Humber Hospital, Dr. Rodriguez-Elizalde completed a Knee Revision fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital at the University of Toronto.
Most recently, he has completed his Masters in Health Administration (MHSc) from the University of Toronto’s Dalla Lana School of Public Health.
Dr. Rodriguez-Elizalde is currently an Adult Hip and Knee Arthroplasty surgeon at Humber River Health. His clinical focus is on minimally invasive hip and knee replacement surgery, revision surgery and trauma.
