Dr. Nathalie Adabachi

Dr. Nathalie M. Adabachi serves as the Medical Lead for Surgical Assisting at Humber River Health. She is a family physician who began her academic path at Concordia University, graduating with Honours with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Behavioural Neurosciences in Psychology. She subsequently earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Université de Sherbrooke Faculté de Médecine et des Sciences de la Santé. Dr. Adabachi is fully bilingual in English and French.
Following medical school, Dr. Adabachi undertook postgraduate training in General Surgery at the University of Toronto before completing her residency in Family Medicine at McMaster University. Her background in surgery supports her work in surgical assisting, her service as an Investigative Coroner for the City of Toronto, certification in hyperbaric therapy for wound management, and recognized expertise in aesthetic medicine by the CPSO. Dr. Adabachi also maintains an active commitment to global health, providing care and support to healthcare initiatives in underserviced communities, including work at Amppipal Hospital in Nepal and with the Canada-Africa Community Health Alliance (CACHA) in Benin.
Dr. Adabachi holds academic appointments as a Clinical Adjunct Professor in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto and as a Lecturer at Queen’s University. She is an active member of the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC), the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO), and the Ontario Medical Association (OMA).
