Dr. Karen Rosenstein is a physician in the Department of Maternal and Child (Paediatrics) at Humber River Health in Toronto. She also holds the position of Lecturer at University of Toronto and works in Pediatrics and Neonatology at other Toronto-area hospitals including Michael Garron Hospital and Mackenzie Health. Her undergraduate training was at McMaster University in Arts and Science. She completed her medical training at University of Toronto and completed her Paediatric Residency at University of British Columbia. Leadership training includes York University Schulich School of Business and the Physician Management Institute. She is currently serving on the Kids Health Alliance as Physician Lead for Michael Garron Hospital. Quality improvement initiatives include development of Paediatric electronic order sets for CPOE and Paediatric inpatient eating disorder care. Areas of special interest includes developmental concerns, ADHD, autism and constipation. She also works at the Thorncliffe Park School Clinic.
