Welcome to MY Humber Health


What is MY Humber Health?


Humber River Hospital wants to make sure you have the most up-to-date health information available to you even after you leave the hospital. That’s why we are introducing MY Humber Health – a secure, online patient portal that connects you directly to information from portions of your HRH health record.

By having access to your health information, you can better understand your health and make well-informed decisions about your health care.


 



The information in MY Humber Health comes directly from Humber River Hospital’s electronic health record. It’s entered into your electronic health record by your health care provider during your visits to HRH.



Yes. At Humber River Hospital, protecting the privacy and security of personal health information is fundamental to our values and the way we do business. MY Humber Health employs industry best practices for privacy and security. Passwords are encrypted and websites are re-written so that they cannot be copied and pasted. You and/or your legally authorized representative(s) are the only ones who can access your information. In addition, information in MY Humber Health is delivered via an encrypted connection.



If you have been a patient at Humber River Hospital and we have your information in our Meditech electronic medical record, then you are ready to create your safe and secure MY Humber Health Account.


How do I get access to MY Humber Health?


To access MY Humber Health, you need the following information:

  • E-mail address you provided at the time of your last Humber River Hospital visit; and
  • Unique hospital number

Ask your health care provider for your unique Hospital Number.

 


Yes, you may also be able to access the health record of a person if you are a legally authorized representative. This needs to be done at Humber River Hospital and requires consent from you and your family member(s).

The following age ranges govern use of MY Humber Health. They have been established to help protect patient privacy.

Ages 0 – 11: A parent/guardian can be granted full access to MY Humber Health. The patient will have access only with permission of the parent/legal guardian.

Ages 12 – 15: A parent/guardian can be granted full access to a patient’s MY Humber Health unless the patient advises HRH that he/she doesn’t want a parent or guardian to have access.

Ages 16 or older: The parent or guardian will only have access to MY Humber Health if the patient gives permission by proxy.


What if I ever have technical problems with MY Humber Health?


There is a Contact Us section on the homepage of HRH’s MY Humber Health that allows you to submit any questions you may have.


If you are at the Hospital and are having technical problems with the Integrated Bedside Terminal (IBT) you can:

  • Press on the “How To” button on the left hand side of the screen that will give you guided, directed help to navigate the MY Humber Health module; or,
  • Press on the telephone icon which will connect you to staff who will provide help over the phone using the IBT or come to your bedside/chair to assist in person.
